Easy Baby Shower Food Ideas To Prepare
If your hosting a baby shower for your pregnant sister, friend or co-worker, there are many easy baby shower food you can prepare. The food you will serve will make your guests enjoy the party even more. For starters, you can prepare tortilla roll-ups where you put a mixture of cream cheese together with chilly and olives into tortillas topped with thin ham slices. You roll these tortillas and hold them with a toothpick on each roll. Refrigerate them and just before serving, have them defrosted.
You can also serve chicken and fruit salad. Mix 2 tablespoons and 1 teaspoon to 2 to 4 cups of cooked chicken. After this, cook 2 to 3 cups of rice and combine this with the chicken, 1 and a half cup of chopped celery, 1 cup of sliced red grapes, 1 cup of pineapple tidbits without its juice, 1 cup of mandarin oranges, 1 cup of toasted almonds, 1 cup of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of orange juice. In a bowl, using a wire whisk, mix and beat 3 cups of cold milk with 2 packages of instant pudding with vanilla flavor for three minutes. Get 12 ounces of defrosted whipped topping. Over the lined graham crackers on the pan, pour half of the pudding mixture. Over the pudding, place another layer of nine graham crackers. Again top this with the remaining pudding mixture. Add the remaining graham crackers on top and set aside. In a microwave oven, heat for 60 seconds a container of 16 ounces of chocolate fudge frosting without the top and foil. Pour evenly the frosting on the graham and pudding combination. Chill this inside the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Before serving, cut into squares the finished product and place a strawberry on each square.
For your drinks, you can serve punch made with 1 package of unsweetened Kool-Aid Powder juice combined with 1 can of Piña Colada mix and 2 liters of 7-Up or Sprite. Mix with ¾ cup of sugar and 2 quarts of water. Add 1 pint of vanilla ice cream and serve.
