Bridal Shower Table Decorations
If your friend is getting married soon, then you must be aware that you will be hosting a bridal shower for her. It is, of course, the bride’s time to shine and stand out but as a hostess, you want the tables to look eye-catching as well. In fact, hostesses spend more time in preparing for bridal shower table decorations, than for the shower games.
When you plan for the decorations, make sure that the decorative pieces you have in mind will complement the theme of the bridal shower and an input from the bride must be integrated into the design. This input could mean her favorite color, style, something that will remind her of a past experience, or an actual opinion on what to include in the decorations. Flowers have long been used as the centerpieces for bridal showers, and this is still valid today. However you may modernize the traditional and sometimes, “boring” centerpieces by implementing a creative way of arranging and displaying them on the table. For example, you could make use of fish bowls and, instead of the usual roses or tulips, use floating flower buds. You could also drop colored gemstones or some toy marbles onto the bottom of the aquarium to add color.
Edible Decorations
For most bridal showers, you will find tables crowded with flowers, candles, and other decorations. These make the tables look great and inviting indeed, but there is one more thing capable of doing that; in fact, it is even better at it. That one thing is, of course, food! Nothing on a table catches the attention of a person more than more than food which is why bridal shower table decorations are sometimes edible. Yes, that is right! For example, you could make use of candy flowers instead of the real ones. You could even put up colorful cupcakes on a cupcake stand and arrange them creatively on the table. A bowl of colorful candies and sweets which are favorites of the bride are also wonderful.
